Flex-Ice™ is a cooling element that monitors the quality of temperature-sensitive products during transport. The unique cell structure ensures optimum flexibility and the possibility to cut the elements to any desired size. Flex-Ice™ consists of a layer of plastic laminate, water-absorbing polymer and a layer of water-permeable non-woven cloth. If the elements are immersed in water for 30 minutes and then placed in the freezer for 12 hours, they are ready for use. Flex-Ice™ can also be used as a “hot-pack”. It retains heat longer than other products. The filled elements can be heated in the microwave.

Flex-Ice™ can be used for the following applications:
